A job within Allotrac.io is a load, generally transported from point A to point B

1. Navigate to https://app.allotrac.io/ and log in to your Allotrac.io site
2. Click the "Create New" tab at the top of the screen
3. Click the "Jobs" button from the drop down
4. Enter the Job Reference if you wish to assign a name to this job. This is generally used to attach your client's purchase order number, or is commonly used as an internally used job number for each individual load. If you don't enter a Job Reference, there is no need to worry as we create an Allotrac job ID for every job in your system for you.
5. Assign the correct Job Date via the date calendar
6. Click the "Fleet" field and select the correct fleet to assign this job to. Please note that this is not mandatory to create a job
7. Click the "Shift" field and select a shift to assign this job to. Please note that this is not mandatory to create a job
8. Select the job's Payment Type
If you have already set the payment type against all of your contacts, we will automatically select this payment type on the job for you once you add the billable client to the job
9. Click the Workflow Category field and select the correct workflow category for the job if you have these enabled and set up in your site
10. If you have a particular custom field group, select the correct one here. Once you do this, your custom fields will appear below to fill out
11. Keep the "Rollover" toggle ticked if you would like this job to roll across to the next day if not completed by midnight on the scheduled job date. This will keep the job rolling over each day until the job is completed
12. Search for and select the desired Billable Company for the job (company or individual paying the invoice for this job)
13. If the contact that you are searching for is not in your system, click the "+ Add Billable" button. This will prompt the add contact form so you can add this contact on the fly
The ability to add contacts on the fly also applies to your origin contacts, origin addresses, destination contacts, destination addresses and items as well!
14. Search for and select the desired Origin Company for the job (company or individual who owns/ operates the pickup location in which you will be loading the vehicle at)
15. Search for and select the pickup address for the job
16. Search for and select the desired Destination Company for the job (company or individual who owns/ operates the delivery location in which you will be uloading the vehicle at)
17. Search for and select the delivery address for the job
18. Search for and select the items that will be transported in the job
19. Type in the quantity for the item
20. To add the item to the job, click the "+ ADD" button
21. Enter the price per unit that you will be billing the client for
22. If you would like to charge the client by the secondary unit of measurement and not the primary click the "Charge By" field
23. Then select a different secondary unit to charge them by via the drop down
24. Under the "Duplicate Jobs" tab, type in a number more than a value of 1 if you wish to duplicate this job. This will create 2 or more of this exact job, in the event where a customer asks for this job to be completed more than once. It also saves you time from a job entry perspective, only having to enter the job once, rather than 3-5 times
25. If you would like to upload any documents to the job, you can do so via the file upload button at the bottom of the job form. This document will be stored against the job for future reference and will also be accessible for the drivers whilst they're completing this job
26. Click the "SAVE" button to save your changes
You have now created this job within your Allotrac.io site. This job will now be ready for allocation and driver completion
