How to create a new item

1. Navigate to https://app.allotrac.io/ and log in to your Allotrac.io site

2. Click the "Manage" tab from the side menu

3. Click the "Items" button from the side menu

4. Click the "ADD ITEM" button

5. Click on the "Item Name" field and type in a name for this new item

6. Click on the "Item Code" field and type in a code for this new item

7. Click on the "Unit" field

8. Select the correct unit of measurement to assign to this new item from the drop down

9. If you have any item labels set up in your site, you can attach the label to the item here

10. Select which finance category should be associated with this product if you have set up your finance categories in your site

11. If you wish to make this a sellable item in your site, click the "Can Sell" tick box

12. If you wish to be able to purchase this item via purchase orders, click the "Can Purchase" tick box.

13. To disable this item in your site, untick the "Enabled" toggle. To enable this item in your site, tick the "Enabled" toggle

14. If you would like to customise the cubic dimensions for a product, you can type in a cubic length value per unit into the "Length (cm)" field

15. If you would like to customise the cubic dimensions for a product, you can type in a cubic width value per unit into the "Width (cm)" field

16. If you would like to customise the cubic dimensions for a product, you can type in a cubic height value per unit into the "Height (cm)" field

17. If you just want to assign an overall cubic measurement to this new item, type in a total cubic dimension per unit in m3. If you have put in the length, width and height, we will automatically set the total cubic measurement based off your values for you

18. Type in any comments you wish to attach to this item in the "Item Comments" field

19. Click "SAVE" to create this item

You have now created this item within your site and it is now ready to use in your jobs.
