How to create and implement your policies & procedures

Policies and procedures will allow you to formalise your company's internal rules, standards, and operational guidelines directly into the site. These documents are not only accessible to internal users, but are also adopted by "Allie", your AI Assistant to ensure it operates in line with your company’s expectations when carrying out tasks.

By embedding these governance documents, your team and Allie can work consistently, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with your operational standards.

1. Navigate to https://app.allotrac.io/ and log in to your Allotrac.io site

2. Click the "Configure" tab from the side menu

3. Click the "Policies & Procedures" button from the drop down

4. As you can see, we already have a default governance document for you which standardises the way in which Allie operates for you

5. To implement your own policies and procedures, click the "ADD GOVERNANCE DOCUMENT" button

6. Enter in the "Document Title" for your governance document

7. Enter in the "Document Reference" for your governance document

8. Click the "Document Type" field

9. Select whether the governance document will be an SOP or a policy via the drop down

10. Enter in the "Applicable Context" for your governance document. This is when this document should be applied in your operations

11. Enter in the "Document" for your governance document. This is the actual SOP or policy that will be followed moving forward

12. Once you have filled out all fields within the governance document, click the "SAVE" button

You have just created your first governance document. This document will now be active moving forward
